Touring South Eastern Bolivia - DAY 4

We were woken up by our driver at 5:30 am to get to the Solar De Uyuni to watch the sunrise. I know incredible!!!

We drove across the plains with volcanic peaks lining the far horizion. The plains being the largest salt flat in the world, a brilliant white and perfectly flat desert that stretches over 10,000 square km.

We even managed a stop half way through the plains, turned up some of the local Bolivian music in the car and did some dancing on the plains. Sounds crazy I know but fun nontheless.!!

For lunch we stopped at a local village found just outside the plains called Colchani and then drove a further 20kms to Uyuni were we are currently now. Our trip was settled by a 2 houyr trip out to Cementrio De Trenes ( Train cemetary)

The trip overall was phenominal with amazing local food tasting, best bolvian hospitality and a
truly amzing experience.

We leave tonight at 8 pm for La paz the capital of Bolivia. Will keep you posted.
